COOPERATION WITH FSUE «POLAR MARINE GEOLOGICAL EXPEDITION» AND «YUZHMORGEOLOGIYA»

Since 1999 CJSC «BARS» has been constantly performing repairs of research vessels («Akademik A. Karpinsky», «Professor Logachev» and «Geolog Fersman», belonging to the FSUE «Polar Marine Geological Expedition»), performing year-round researches in Arctic and Antarctic areas.

In 1999 CJSC «BARS» on request of FSUE «Yuzhmorgeologiya» fulfilled modernization and repair of a leading research ship «Yuzhmorgeologiya». There was made an interim overhaul of main and auxiliary engines, turbines, compressors, refrigeration units, systems and ship navigation, electrical and scientific parts.

In 2000 there was made a repair of a diving vessel «Impulse». In the process of repair, there was developed technical documentation and made an overhaul repair of the deep chamber for divers dive and the diesel highpressure compressors.

In 2000 CJSC «BARS» developed technical documentation and complied modernization of the device for the move of the scientific equipment for research vessel «Gelendzhik». The modernization was carried out in the port of Manila city in the Philippines during the operational work of the vessel under the contract.
